I've got only 2 PCs, (one is still upgrading) What's the best overall PC game (2 PC networked and/or 3 people on 1 PC game) that people recommend...I've been playing most PC game out there in multiplayer with my family from Diablo II, NWN, Quake III, SOF, Half-Life, Heros III, Lords of the Realm etc... just wondering of there are any other fantasy/action game that bring more jiggles and delights. I also been playing emulation games but most don't allow up to 3-4 players. Can anybody tell me of a game on N64, PSX, MAME or SNES that has 3-4 player playiblitiy? |

Baldur's Gate II is a good multi-player game. Sadly, the best multi player game I ever had only existed on Macintoshes: Armour Alley. It was a side-scrolling (sprites) action/strategy game. You manually controlled an attack helicopter (bombs, napalm, machine guns, missiles, etc) above the battle field, and deployed tanks, mobile anti air craft missiles, personel and demolition vans from the base on your side of the field. The goal was to get a demolition van to reach your opponents base (or destroy all his or her helicoptors) You defended your troops and equipment; took over bunkers and AA guns; attacked your opponent's helicoptor; etc. Meanwhile, your opponent was attacking you with his helicoptor, bunkers, anti Aircraft guns, and deploying his own convoy to destroy you. Abandoned Realms MUD is the best if that's the path you want to take. Lots of fun, almost as much fun as ADOM & Angband Abandoned Realms |

I got bored of WC3 in the beta. I really enjoyed some of the old BBS games like LORD and the like, though I was young an impressionable at the time. If you're interested in MUDs and have yet to play any you might check out Medievia (www.medievia.com) as it's the one that managed to hold my attention for the longest time. Though I havn't visited in years, and can't say what it's like now. The other multiplayer game I've spent a fair time playing is Counter-Strike. Though I don't know if time = good... addictions can be terrible things. |

How come I never posted anything in this thread back when it was started? Oh well, I'll still add my 2 cents: if you're into wrestling(I know I am!) get WWF No Mercy on n64! One of the best wrestling games ever, it's more complex than nowaday's SYM for PS2 for example. A must-have :P If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. If you like AD&D games id sugest bulders gate 1 or 2 or never winter nights. though in bulders gate noone seems to be on and noone joins your games unless you have alot of friends. |

If you hate being called a noob constantly, or otherwise flamed, then EverQuest isnt for you. Its a game for idiots and extraordinarily mean people to flock to. 95% of the community are A-holes. The game itself isnt that bad though, if you can manage to concentrate while all that is going on |

Worms:Armageddon and Worms 2 are great multiplayer games, and in MMORPG's I suggest Ragnarok Online. The official server isn't free, but there a quite a lot of private servers that are. The Counter-Strike mod for Half-Life is good too. |

Alright. First of all, Verdagon; Starcraft isint dying>:( There are maaany games still running in there, and many maps are in making. Starcraft is not dying. Warcraft3 Lags? all games i played in it doesnt lag, buy new comp?:DD Wc3 beta might not be fun, and u get fast bored on the normal game but, have u tried maps like Sheep Tag? Life OF Peasant? Yea Skan is right, the Worms series is great if you have a few friends. Your able to play 4+ teams on one computer. Ive never been able to connect to the server for some reason. Probly just an outdated copy of Worms 2. When my brother sees me pick up the "Super Sheep" crate he cringes in fear, i can steer those things through a maze and detonate them at your doorstep :) |

I like the Half-life Mod Firearms. I was king of that game, and it had a great weapon system. Plus it had mortars and a skill system! |
