nah it's a bug, just get overburdened and stand on the stairs. going down is easy, you fall down, even past lvl 1 to level 0 and so forth. doesn't work going up but it's a hell of a lot easier than walking down 66 floors after killing the dwarf. |

Hurthing mindcrafters? Could someone tell me more about hurthings? I've never used them much because they don't like shoes (can't use 7lb). I know they have good dex and toughness. I know about the lvl 4 rock throwing when they start. Anything else? |

Cletus, hurthlings can wear shoes, they just lose two points of Dex when they do. That's not worth giving up 7lb for. What's more, with herbs you can train your hurthling's Dex to 30 with shoes (32 without). |

there's a bug in the game that allowsw you to go past level zero and into the negatives. it doesn't do any good to go to the negatives really. because the level stays the same only the number changes, but you can leave on any level that's 1 or below. apparently, whenever you're overburned the program doesn't allow you to go downstairs, you tumble instead. the games gives a message at that point about the tumbling. you fall one level but you're still on the downstaircase because the makeup of the level doesn't change. you can't use this trick to get to ID 66 or beyond because the game won't let you move other than teleport or falling down the stairs. so it's a great trick that keeps you from having to get back from deeper levels, one turn per level. see what i mean? just get overburdened and stand on the downstairs, pretty simple. |
