Wyrmlance is you main weapon? Do you feel ready to go for pool intrinsics (and a wish hopefully) in darkforge? Do you have TC? What do you have for PV? Do you lack any relatively mundane items? Do you feel like taking on a GM? Several? Do you have the Dodge skill? SoE might be a good idea, Dodge, athletics, alchemy, and any other skill will all go up a bit (if not 100) with your level increases which should come relatively quickly with the cat lord, stone beast, water dragon, and a GM or two. Also, if you can get yourself to the point where you can wish for Emperor Moloch and expect to survive the game will be a lot less dangerous. I have the following armor: Eternium cap [6,4] amulet of order[I just massacred casino:D] eternium plate mail (-1,-2) [+5,+13] eternium girdle [5,4] cloak of invis (-1,0) [3,4] sword of nonnak protector ring of slaying ring of the high kings bracers of war elemental gauntlets blessed seven league boots [6,4] 5 blessed scurgari of death [12,6d8 + 6] very nice orb of fire DV=94,PV=54, St=40 Le=35 Wi=38 Dx=24 To=35 Ch:19 Ap:12 Ma:26 Pe:20 Sp:98 speed sucks 620 HP, 272 PP, level 26, just gained 4 levels from killing casino shopkeeper while slowed. 1657 castings of acid ball 1400 of serious wounds 1419 of heal 1262 of improved fireball, for speed increases 2055 of MM (not all of my spells, just the mostly used) Secret to my success:I found TWO!!!!! WANDS!!!OF!!!WISHING!!!BEFORE!!!CASINO!!!! Yes, I did: I was hacking my way through some jackals, when I found a glowing wand! I've gotten NO mareilon,a little morgia,and I hope I find a ring of weakness for this reason: I just cleared a giant vault:DIt was on D:47, I gained like 3 levels in it.In a lesser red dragon vault, I found executor, in the greater vault with giants, I found: Soaker :( Skullcrusher :( Thunderstroke:( 20 giant corpses in inventory :D I sure hope I find a wish soon, for ring of weakness, 20+ to St would be nice.I currently have 5 corruptions, and left 9 Blessed SoCR in D-Town, and it's past Day 90. I'm level 30 too, so I could do unicorn quests.So here's what I'll probably do: Teleport way to shortcut to surface Maybe do Bug Temple(140 some DV on coward + acid ball) Take the extra SoCR along with me to D-town, pick up last supplies, bless stuff like crazy. So with 13 Blessed SoCR, should I just kill the greater white unicorn for the PoGA, or should I just save the 13 Blessed SoCR for the last 3 temples, blue dragon cave(for exp+I have wyrmlance),and D:50? The last thing I want to happen to me is to die of corruption, which has never happened to me before, though I've read of people on D:50 getting the max amount of corruptions and teleporting their way to the surface due to fear of encountering corruption traps+corrupted monsters, which I don't want to happen to me though, but I also don't want to be not strong enough to take on all those monsters.I currently deal:+64 to hit, 4d3+46 damage on normal, with 2 rings of slaying on.On berserk, I deal:+107 to hit, 4d3+66.I have 55 DV on berserk, so will my attack and defense be good enough for D:50, or should I go with black unicorn and get stats up? I'd say it's too early for you to decide which to go for - wait and see how you fair with those SoCR. You should be okay, but bad things can happen. Why no herb scumming? You should at least set up a square in the big room using holy water. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

I'm against herb scumming, I find that as THE cheapest scumming in the game, since you can achieve several precrowns with ease IMO then. I WON!!!!Barely as a matter of fact. I had to resort to summoning a GEE with a SoFS, because I simply had run out of acid ball castings( was at 35 effectivity too) at mana temple, because I wasted over 500 castings there, I wasn't close enough to Nuurag, so I wasted them. Mana temple was cautious, since I lack death ray resistance,and on top of that, I forgot to wear my ring of immunity I found on level above:( So I had a speed of 10, and killed him finally, and got myself to level 50 there.I found the scorched spear and ring of immunity in random drops. On D:50, I accidentally prayed too much for PP, and my god summoned solars:( So I had to fight them, and lower my alignment, which lowered my score I imagine, since I'm not L+.On D:50 though, it probably took me over FIVE DAYS to complete it...WMoPC were extremely exp'd, and were doing good damage, and chaos servants too. I didn't even kill Fisty, since I ran out of acid ball, and ammo was low.I got nature's companion on uselessnes, I wanted preserver:( I charged my wand of destruction to 25 charges:DSo here's what I did on the fifth day: I summoned the GEE, and while he covered my back, I blessed the booze, and soaked the wand of destruction. I teleported near each lever, and probably had to zap each about 10 times each to clear out the area or lever so I could destroy them. This char would have gotten destroyed by Andor Drakon, so it's good that I didn't decide to go for an ULE. I'll post the FLG sometime soon. "You try to give Fang, the large dog the bone. Note: I brought Khevalaster with me out of the chain, I think that companions or people that come out of the chain should get some credit. Why couldn't you wish for rings of weakness? Also, scumming stomafillia for precrowns has never even been successful for me; I wouldn't call it cheap. I always have to sac monsters or large piles of money. Edit: Oops, I missed this - congrats! The following is a real Adom message: The homunculus hits you. You suddenly fall asleep! I had already used all of my wishes, all 12 on books and stats. I could've gotten my strenght enormously high if I would've had a ring of weakness, which would've made D:50 significantly easier, and as I said, I was almost dead a couple of times down there. Wishes in my opinion are only NECESSARY for the following things: Corruption removal if you're chaotic AoLS for the BOOKS:D Other than those, I really have no need for wishes, eternium armor I can get at darkforge from chaos knights, which is how I have full eternium armor on most chars by level 20:D "You try to give Fang, the large dog the bone. with that many wishes you would've had a reasonable chance of polypiling a wish engine into existence (provided you had at least fifteen stacking rings).
