I want to thank everyone thats helped me along the ways with all of my newbie questions. You have all been very helpful. Now i have a level 24 human fighter who is doing exceptionally well and i may have a winner here. I couldnt have come this far without the help of all of you so thank you for all your help. (: |

Just be careful - the twenties are the most dangerous levels a char can have (still too weak for the strong monsters, and too strong for the weak ones. ) A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

If u have some means to become invisible, the bug-ruins have two good armors and two good two-handed weapons inside ;) ... ...but that is a suicide I think. U need tons of bolt-wands or spells or slaying missiles or sht... melee just doesn't work with killer bugs... Icesus |

In the newest edition, it takes 100 pc deaths to get in there (ie, 100 of your charecters have died) and they can see Invisible. I reccomend having lots of wands of death/ knowing death ray. |

You can tame those bugs with music, too. Killer bugs are nice pets, heh. |

(The following message is assuming you can have more than one pet... Can you?) I have 100 killer bug pets, and I meet a bard in the infinite dungeon. Well, its weird, cuz it said that I heard a beautiful music and then all my killer bugs turned against me! The f*in bard tamed MY bugs! Of course, I died... You'd have to wait a long time waiting for the killer bugs to spawn and then taming them before you'd have a 100. Don't even know if the monster limit for one level is smaller, I think it is. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Yes, it is; it's closer to forty. You're also not allowed to have more than a limited number of companions, probably three, at one time, in one place. What happens if you tame three pets on one level, go to the next level leaving them behind, tame three more pets there, then take your three new pets up to the level with your three old pets? Is that a way to get more than three pets? |
