For my own personal amusment, how old are you all: I'm 21. I'm guessing; Caladriel is about.. 23/24? Iridia is about 18/19? Lavos is about 13-15? C is about 15? |

What does that say about that old troll Bradley? ;) I've been 16 for 2 months now. By the way, it's not just here. We (note the hubris) intelligent, non-"OMG LOL WTF!!!!!11111", guys have our places in the web... And age never shows in persons when they communicate over the internet. I've read a heated discussion about atheism somewhere (90% of heated discussion on the web are on religion, or did you know that?), where this 70 year old Creationist was swearing and cursing his opponents like a 10-year old... In fact I thought he'd be about 10-12 before he said he was 70. :p Move the cursor to the desired position and press [SPACE] when done. Impossible. Suddenly you stand elsewhere. I actually sound younger when im online (probably because im typing fast.) And i never really read over what im writing. I would have never guessed that Andor was 12. Guess that just goes to show you.... Anyway, i completely agree with the fact that ADOM does require much more intelligence than the HOW FAST CAN YOU PRESS THE BOTTON SHOOTING games. It also gives you a lot more patience, especially after a few good, crowned, high level PCs die to something like corruption. We need some scientists to do a report on this kind of thing. (: |

that is true about the patience thing but i do enjoy a bit of mindless violence and quake is a favourate of mine. you can't play ADOM as stress relief (well i can't, i get stressed when everything goes tits-up). actually a favourite is playing as a darkside jedi in jedi knight, disarming the storm troopers then force gripping/lightning/throwing them to death. |

oh, and RTS games too. for me they combine the patience of building up a force and the sheer pleasure of watching them demolish the opposition |
