I really like these tournaments because they make me more interested in playing ADoM. So I'm going to start a new one and you can continue with an old character because I'm continuing to play with Jugos. Shall we say that this tournament goes on until the end of February that would de 21 days, no savescumming allowed, but you may have two tries, and if you loose you character to a bug you may start over. I have Chris, the dark elven assasin on level eight. he has to spellbooks witch he is unable to read, 1 ordinary and 2 nograin rings. No wands but 2000-3000 gold. He is currently searching for an altar so that he could get the healing skill from Jharod. For the Horde! |

Chris is level 13, in Dwarftown. He has a girdle of carrying and has changed his alingment to N. He has teleportation from a pixie archer's corpse and teleportation resistance from blink dogs. He has about 5 wands, 5 rings and 2 spellbooks. For the Horde! |

You are teleporting. You are able to control teleportation. You are invisible. You are shock resistant (enhanced through an item). You are able to see invisible things. Corruptions: A - Your close attunement to astral space allows teleportation. B - You have grown a total of 12 eyes (Ap: -6, Pe: +6). Just killed the Snake from Beyond. Saved Khelavaster. Whole bunch of nice spells including Frost, Fire and Lightning Bolt, Teleportation, Fireball, Cure Critical Wounds, Magic Map & more. Very close to Istaria, but still haven't managed to get crowned. Kitty body count = 0. I have blessed ring of Ice, blessed fireproof blanket and blessed ring of fire resistance, so ToEF is the next stop. The permanent invisibility is actually a nuisance, because my undead slaves are more or less unable to follow me. Teleportation is fun. Aarrrgh!! stupidest death ever: In the Tomb of High Kings, I make an ice bridge with my Frost Bolt spell, drop enough equipment to put me just under breaking point weight, and stepped confidently onwards. Take one more step, the si in my backpack duplicates, I go over 2000 stones, the ice breaks, I die. |

Heh a tournament thats pretty much just stating where your character is at? Alright! im in. I just read this for the first time a minute ago, so the chars ive killed up to this point in february dont count, because they knew not of this tournament :P I think ill start off with a Orcish Monk. Havent tried that combo before...And i shall call him...Lugesh Edit: Awww...Lugesh didnt make it too far, just to level 8 before getting splattered by a harpy and her many critical hits.. He started with bad stats anyways so its no big deal, hopefully my next will make it a little farther. Well there goes my second attempt :(, fated character became a Gnomish Barbarian, fun combo I got cursing and dooming from one of those tempting drinking places, and couldnt remove it even with godly help. I checked the guidebook for the appropriate messages and got them, but later got slaughtered by summons because i was STILL cursed and doomed.. He got to level 11 only, but had nice stats and HP for a gnome. Cleared Healer cave, and puppy cave, made a few runs through the id before being ambushed by a black wizard and his many many minotaurs |

I just found a phase dagger on D 13. I want to start training but my swords are at level 10. What should I choose. Sword of Nonnak or phase dagger. For the Horde! |

Phase dagger is much more deadly against heavily armoured foes. OPnly use the sword of nonnak if you want the Willpower bonus and need an indestructable weapon |

Now at lvl 23, cleared out the blue dragon wault and found a tension room full of Greater Water Elementals on the same level, no big problems though. Found a golem wault and it contained an Eternium Golem and I had to leave it alone because I didn't manage to kill it.
