WTF? I love winter. The freezing cold is probably the only negative thing about it, but I like snow and ice, long nights (when the nights get longer you start to appreciate daylight more...), starlit skies, Northern lights, etc... Surely beats the crap out of spring. btw, went for a swim again yesterday :) It was quite nice, with all the snow in the ground. Didn't care to measure the water, but air was at least -3ºC. These guys are talking about cannabis, where to get seeds if you want to grow it yourself. I'd recommend deleting this thread. I'm not against talking about if something should be illegal, but when you talk about distributing illegal substances: Kayaman "Mishka, pistäpä hampunsiemeniä snailmailissa! If you MUST smoke shit, move into a country that has legalized soft drugs. I don't understand this escape-from-reality mentality that some kids have. "Oooh, drinking/smoking/doing drugs makes me feel good. Or so my friends say. If they do it, I must do it." Are you so... (I'd hate to use the word weak here, but...) WEAK that you can't face reality as it is. Or do you think that you have to have a good time ALL the time. Now I understand if you drink a beer or two now-and-then. But when (at least here in Finland) it's more like getting so drunk every weekend that you don't remember what the hell you did, it's quite different. >arion. you have a point there. of course it's not a 'wise' thing to do to get totally wasted on any substance there is, but here in Finland this is mostly the case. however, i know a bunch of people who can have a couple of beers every now and then and smoke a little pot every now and then, without developing a problem out of it (so... balance again?). but it's true that smoking pot becomes a daily habit pretty easily (for some), and that's the reason why i find it more 'dangerous' when compared to alcohol. still, not every drug user is the regular i-was-abused-as-a-child-stole-my-first-car-when-i-was-seven -type of person who'll just take anything as much as they can get all the time (ok, i'm exaggarating), there's loads of people in Finland too who just smoke some after a workday and watch tv. well, i'm not saying it's good for them, but still... BTW marijuana seeds are not illegal according to the finnish law, and you can even legally grow one plant in your home => if this thread is to be deleted, jan could change the name for this forum to "everything between heaven and earth excluding cannabis". mYh34Df E3L5liK3aFRiSb3e |

<ADMIN MODE> Be that as it may don't think for a second that I won't delete a message or thread if I feel that things are getting out of hand. Just because there is no definitive list of what is tollerated and what is not does not mean that I would allow nazies to spread propaganda or people to plan illegal activities and so forth on my forums (there are limits even here). I'm not saying this thread falls into any such category, just wanted to point that out. I'm fairly tollerant and usualy prefeer to talk things out with people rather than deleting everything I dislike (I have only deleted a handfull of messages in the forums history, and most of those where just mindless spam and not opinions I disaproved off). I don't have a problem with people debating wether or not to legalize this or that. Just don't turn it into a buyers guide of where to get hold of the shit... </ADMIN MODE> On a personal note I don't get what is so great about drugs/alcohol. If you want to escape from reality, just hang out with friends or have fun there are other ways to do that besides poisoning your brain untill you can't tell up from down. But that's just me... Here I was trying to be a firestarter, but no-one took my bait... Oh well, I'll have train some more :D I realize that I too am weak in the sense of escaping from reality. I just don't use any chemical substances for that. I read a good fantasy/scifi book or maybe play a computer game (maybe that's why I like rpg's so much...). Some people would label me as a geek for that, but who cares? "No more shiny ones. Oh well, back to lurking I guesses." |
