(Havenīt posted in ages, prolly no one knows me... so you could say this is my first post, again :p) The thing is this. I'm playing with an High Elven ranger. Did the pyramid recently. A while ago I "pacified" the big room with the 7*6 door-enclosed room tech'. Got 2 white worms and 1 green worm inside... I wasnīt fast enought to get out and close a door without one of them blocking it, so I zapped a wand of stunning at them. One white worm got out, the ohers got locked in. So far so good. Killed a few *foos* near the door-room, but then, when I went to kill the white worm that had gotten out, I found out "It didn't care about me" (Probably due to the stun ray since it was hostile before). He spawned another one, who also didn't fear nor mind my very menacing pointy steel thingy. They started spawing like mad. Tried to kill some of them, but turns out that every single one is peacefull... hitting them made a mess out ouf my pretty L+ and Corellius almost made me do his loundry to get my piety back after the alignment change. Now I have over 60 worms invading the big room. (Not counting those inside the door-room) Every single one of them is peacefull and they keep on multiplying... At this rate it will be soon overwhelmed. I tried magic missiles and some wands but they are far too many to handle. I havenīt seen a single Scroll of vermin control. Is there a way to make them all hostile? A spell, item, wand, ring, whatever? Or am I doomed to let the herbs be lost due to white worm infestation? (Not mentioning safe passage through the level) If at least they were some expensive silk worms or something... *sigh* Aeglos the Insanity Lord hits you. You become Insane! [M]ore You become Insane! Shoot arrows "Through" them. Target the space behind a worm and fire away, dont believe this causes any alignment hit. Scroll of monster aggravation? Alarm trap? |
