I am lawful crowned already and i think you can convert altars to lawful once your crowned, anyone know how to do this?

You don't have to be crowned to convert altars, except for those in the elemental temples.

The safest way to convert an altar is sacrificing huge amounts of gold (small amounts will convert you instead, which is not recommended for champions of Order). You can do it with creatures, though this is quite complicated and risky. The ADOM Guidebook contains hints how to do it. But it agrees with me in one point: "If you must convert an altar, do it with gold. It is much, much safer."

How much gold you have to sacrifice to convert an altar, I cannot say. It probably depends on character level.
