I was doing the cute little dog quest, and while leading the dog out of the cave - we ran into a dark place, and the dog attacked me in there (no damage or anything was done), but then we left the dark place and the dog is hostile - i cant leave the cave because he is hostile? any way to correct this? Or do i have to take the dog out back and shoot it? |

You can't leave the cave with the dog as long as it's hostile. I wouldn't kill it - You've put so much effort into rescuing the poor thing ó_ò. It's not its fault you led it into the scary darkness. If you've got the music skill, try to tame it again. If not, I can only think of two other ways. One is a certain spell, which will make you able to take it to Terinyo. Don't know what will happen if it gets hostile there again... About the other: It's a dog, right? So maybe it will think nicer of you if you give him something to chew on. Spoiler
Bones, that is. And the spell I was talking about is called "Calm Monster", which will make the dog neutral, upon which you are able to leave the puppy cave while it follows you. I'm not quite sure whether bones actually work, though. In any case, one will not be enough, you'll need several. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Yeah, one time I was a Trollish something and I went in to fetch the doggy. There was a chaotic altar on the way out, and I just couldn't resist, so I was just like *poof* bye bye doggy! When I went and told the girl what I did she was like "AHHHHH YOU EVILLLL" and tried to kill me. Of course, I have since changed my evil ways.
