I have a few quick questions about converting elemental altars as a Champion of Balance/Law. Is it possible to sacrifice the Orb Guardian as soon as you see it, before it moves off the altar? I currently have a level 13 Trollish Barbarian, so would sacrificing, say, the Snake from Beyond probably convert its altar, or not? Also, is there anything else special about elemental altars, other than it takes a Champion of Balance/Law to convert them? At least they are as fragile as normal altars. In one game I had some fun by leading a GM to an elemental altar (mana temple, IIRC) and it was smashed just like normal. As for live-saccing orb guardians there is the problem to getting to them before they wake up and move off. Usually they are behing a mob and elemental temples are no-teleport zones. Orb Guardians can't be sacrificed, sadly. Would be too easy, wouldn't it? About the "fragile" thing... Can you destroy elemental altars on your own? You can 'k'ick normal altars until they break, but I never tried to do this with an elemental altar. If it is not possible, they're in fact *not* as fragile as normal ones, even if GMs kann smash them ;) You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west.
