Just started a new character, an Orchish Paladin from the book sign, wicked starting stats, everburning torch etc, he goes to the PCaves and in the first room is a pool, 1st drink, what do you wish for?_, heap of seven leauge boots, drink again, what do you wish for?_ jeez i dont know? GoGS? Aols? RDscale? Cloak invisible? rng gonna eat me up (edit) WOW!! 2nd wish used for Red Dragon scale, got precrowned with wyrmlance, found spellbooks of of slowmonster and remove curse, and found a sword of sharpness and a 'bloody'dagger in the Ud travels, but in Waldenbrookes i found a spellbook of DIVINE INTERVENTION!!!!!! dont think ill ever be able to cast it tho, dont have the patience to become archmage material.... *<< Words go here >>* [Edited 1 time, last edit on 11/12/2005 at 02:08 (GMT -5) by *Chaos Muffin*] |

Eh-heh.. I (as playing Drakish Mindcrafter) tried to get a third precrown (LN) in unremarkable dungeon on level 6. Two first ones were RoI and Skullcrusher. I sacked monsters for days.. and days.. and days.. Stopped when I got as close to lvl 17 as 10k xp's and almost reached the pyramide limit. In addition - it was day 48 when I finally gave up. Grrr! I looked at my loot and among tons of rubbish found a little compensation for hours of real life time wasted - RoDS. :) RNG still has some mercy for patient ones. Now the problem is getting 7LBs for ToHK, ToEF, Bulp's mom, another Hloleinthewall and Terinyo visit.. Without them 90th day is looming... Ubi patria ibi bene! |

My orcish paladin,(Everburn) managed to get a wish from the Darkforge for Khelly, and he just went thru the Wall of Flames in the Coc to get the message 'You feel truely excited, you feel a surge of power' YAY! The surge of power was Broxendriar, the hippogriff, he left behind skullcrusher The Truely excited was Giants (which he smacked down dual-wielding evrburning torches), which left me the sapphire amulet and the protector shield Also got the rune covered trident at last, and a quarterstaff of devastation and a ring of the djinn! Prepare for more speechless then, this is unbelievable but true> on d34, Everburn got *another* surge of power! two in one game! The guardian was An-Almaar, the extremely experienced doppleganger king, who fell to repeated hellish flames and magic missile, he left behind the hammer of the gods... Then at character level 39, Spoiler (a first for me, ever) i think Everburn is going to become a very powerfull character...he went to the smc with 6 rings of searching, 3 PoEx later i have 6 rings of djinni summoning! Went down thru casino (no artifacts) and on to find the cat lord before going to find the Multiheaded chaos dragon, also used a djinn to get a wand of Monster creation, as none have been generated so far, not even in the casino. so now have amulet and crown of chaos, might get the trident *and* the scepter, just for fun, This will be my first Ultra ending, unless Everburn dies from stupidity... *<< Words go here >>* [Edited 1 time, last edit on 11/14/2005 at 08:48 (GMT -5) by *Chaos Muffin*] |

so im down in d37, and everburn gets his Third surge of power!, just after he finally got crowned (with Justifier Sword, pretty cool sword actually)... Guardian was Hurth, the firelizard, gave me the whirlwind sling... And just down a few levels i get another truely exciting vault, this one being the undead, i started to tackle it but then thought id go kill blue dragons instead... *<< Words go here >>* |

Speaking of RNG giving, then taking... Gnome barbarian, found a stone spear of devastation early on. Used it exclusively from then on until encountered a mixed tension room containing a ratling fencer/duelist... Oh well, gnome barbarians suck ass big time, anyway... Don't fight that g. undead vault muffin, you'll die of old age! That wouldn't be so funny now wouldn't it? :) I seriously believe that the RNG does some kind of luck roll on the character creation. |

Well, Everburn is level 50, and has gotten all the orbs, the scepter, and the trident, needle and sting, he's able to survive csting Divine Intervention, all thats left to do is d50 and the Greater Undead Vault (already killed an Emperor Lich down in Infinity, I still have 5 wishes spare, wondering whether to use them for Mana, Power, PoMana, or 5 PoGattributes, or some scrolls of chaos resistance (probally a good bet) *<< Words go here >>* |

I just had Serpent's Bite generated on level 7 of the PC. With an Orcish Paladin. I should have fled; instead I stuck around to duke it out with a werewolf lord. Grond now rests in the eternal resting halls of Stupid Character Deaths. But I'll try again. For some reason, all the orcish paladins I've ever played have had the luck. Yay! Everburn has become an Avatar of Balance! I used my wishes to up my stats by 5 points, Spoiler and ended up using 18 potions of exchange to get another pile of djinn rings, which i used for scrolls of chaos resistance Ill post his story and stats on the hall of fame sometime, Everburn has probally been my luckiest character ever, he relied pretty heavily on combat throughout most of the game, although at d50 and the earlier greater undead vault he used the priestly equivalent of Improved Fireball to great effect, had it up to a 3 square radius *BOOM!* Basic ending stats were thus: Everburn, the Orcish Paladin St:66 Le:50 Wi:53 Dx:62 To:58 Ch:65 Ap:36 Ma:70 Pe:40 N= DV/PV: 60/63 H:1129(1269) P:0(1158) Exp: 50/60175443 ChAoS Sp: 150 as i rarely play spell casters, this is the highest pp value ive ever had, also one of the highest scores, also a first for me was converting all the Elemental Altars, I really thought i'd get some reward for this, but nothing showed up :( *<< Words go here >>* |

Congratulations on the Ultra, muffin! I had my human wizard ULE wannabe, which was doing *very* good (already satisfied demented ratling and Gaab'Baay), drowned in the water dragon lair while healing my pet for alignment boost! Now that was a **very** stupid death. Oh well. |
