Yeah, that's what I did. I got a low-end computer, installed Windows 98 on it (DOS included) and hooked up a keyswitch so I can switch between my XP machine and my ADoM machine. :D Molach: "I like to have 200+ hp and over 5 good healin potions when I do [the fire] temple. I got that color thing too... After closing ADOM and starting again, it worked fine. And even if the colors are a little off... you can still play, can't you? You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? Colors in XP: Click on the title of your console window, and then choose "properties". You'll be able to change the colors from here. Anyway, the best way of playing ADOM is through ADOM Sage, which is quite stable and also has some other useful features (like color-highlighting important messages). http://www.jbc.edu/~josh/adom-sage/ |

Oh, ok. You just have to make it full screen and the colors are fine. They just looked so horribly batt-ugly in a window... reminiscent of involuntary oral upheaval...
