nothing original

As i'm eager to do this and some other guys sounds like wanting too. and cristhmass are far away...
well, let's just start:

Autumn of 2006 Random Character Adom Competition

modified rules of Molach
* Character to be played will be a random character. Yes, you select (l)et fate decide and let ADOM give you the usual Die-easy character you normally wouldn't play. Do take the first character you are dealt when you sit down and decide to do the challenge, please.
* Each participant will be allowed one post, which they then will edit. So as to keep thread short. Write as much story you want, or just abbs. This is in Spoilers so no need to use the spoiler formatting.
* The Goal? To have fun definetly, and playing something unusual.
* Every (wo)man gets one shot at this, and one shot only. If you die on your way to Terry, well too bad.
* After generation and before playing, consider your character, outline your goals first in writing. Then play and we can see if you succeeded or failed horribly
* Timeframe? autumn of 2006 and i mean untill december nno technical tricks:)

Okay, my a character...

Month Candle(that rng is in strange love with thread starters?) race dark elf, class priest, three starting talents aler, long stride and misser.

elven chain mail [0,7]vs to12
rest of equipment:flail and dager
water/holy water/ potions of healing and poison
scroll dark prediction
spellbooks-dispel undead/cure disease/darkness

no attacking spells, no healing spells and i thought rng is in my favour.

big plans - killing all possible monsters, including Andor Drakon and becoming ultimate god of chaos...

picked quests, checked otlaw town for a first kill (assassin with my faithfull flail, posioning was not a big problem). yet another spellbook in black market -- Holy Awe/scare monster.

went into small cave fighter style relying on elven armour and healing skill. found stairs, blanket and second spellbook of cure disease.
Sorca is getting ireally impatient -- dark elves always thought magic is synonim of mayhem.
picked a tressure hunter -- more tressure, more books, more destruction.

So she went to Id to gain a level and find books?

here come second of dispel undead and first of enlightment.

still believing in power of mithril Sorca hunted down raiders - nice heap of arrows +long bow. Fire bolt would ne nicer, she thought, but bows and elves are nice combo.

she went to druid dungeon for stuff and experience-- so far found a spear and spellbook of critical wounds. no shield, no offensive spells, well ok at least ghuls are not problem. but still soira doesn't feel save with her 40 hp.
maybe eating kobolds and curing herself will help that toughness, which is already maxed -- 13.

well sorca is dead. found lawfull altar in puppy cave lv2, sacced untill lawful, then sacced ants.

somewhere near very close she had brilliant idea -- there was pool on PC1 and she is in good position to remove dooming, and knowing dispel undead...

Sorca dealt with loss in dexterity and burst of vipers. Third gulp from that stupid pool made her sick. somehow she decided to make short walk before cuing herself - three steps later she was "wasted by terrible black fever".

and she never learned real combat magic. and died while having blessed potion of healing form pickpocketing and cure disease with over 300 castings.

i should limit my chars to oprcs and trolls. they at least have reason to be stupid
A root is a flower that disdains fame.

Just rolled a random character, and got a female gray elven monk born under Cup. High learning (21) + low toughness (8). Talents: wealthy + filthy rich!

Plans: Nothing too ambitious, I'll avoid scumming (gremlin, id, precrowns, etc) and maybe go for my first ultra??

First kill = child lol

Went to small cave but ran out. Next, proceeded to puppy cave but was stopped by a river on the first level :( Druid's Dungeon contained a mix tension room which was too tough.

*Update* T_T my character got petrified by a gorgon. She was running through the big room and suddenly sensed "imminent danger." A few steps later and BLAM. Scored 4223 pts and advanced to lvl 6.

AWESOME, Candle born male human barbarian.
st22 le10 wi and dex14 to18 cha3 ap11 mana4 pe15.
dv/pv 13/1 hp 27, pp 0.

Rip Torn was born into tragedy, while his father was the best hunter-warrior of the tribe, he was a cold and unjust man, who hated his sons, as such Rip Torn was unaccepted by other children of the tribe, and his childhood was sad and lonely. Rip spent his youth training hard to be the best he could be, the most powerful warrior in Ancardia, all to gain respect and love in his fathers eyes.
Sadly, this was never to be, while on a spiritual journey in the east his tribe came under attack from an army of gnolls. no one survived...
Upon finding his home destroyed and family slain, Rip Torn swore a blood oath to rid Ancardia of evil, even if it meant fighting the God of Chaos himself.

Rip Torns Goals.

Kill 3000+ gnolls
Kill Andor Drakon
Achieve Grand Mastery
Never wear armour, and only use Beserk and Very Agressive Tactics

Ok, now im going to see how far he gets.

Armour that Rip Torn refuses to wear:

Torso Armour (any kind, even super shiney eternium power plate of devastatingly effective
osmosis)
Helmets (hats are ok though)
Cloaks (he just doesnt like them)
Shields (shields are for pansys)

Armour that Rip Torn will wear:

girdles (to stop the disemboweling cut, he never wants to die that way)
gauntlets (to smack people with)
bracers (to block with his arms)
boots (for kicking things)

First kill Jackal

Talents, alert, miser (both starting talents) then treasure hunter and hardy, tough skin,
steel skin, immune to pain

explored the smc a little, found two hander of parrying (yay! makes Rip Torns goals easier) and boots of dex +2, descended to the bottom of pcaves, then left to kill the

raider lord (found him in less than 5 days! awesome!, then learnt pickpockets from the master thief, sold my armour and other accumelated items before heading back into the
pcaves.

On Pc 4, found a Neutral altar, and a tension room of the hated gnolls. so Rip Torn sacced
them up in the name of Istaria, hooray!
and after going back to terinyo and buying some food for his new spiritual quest, rip torn sacrificed many of the chaotic creatures that roamed the tunnels, until, at last Istaria
laid her blessings upon him, giving him the might artifacts, the bracers of war!!
[holey moley! and hes only just turned level8]

And the exciting bottom level of the pup caves was full of Gnolls, RARRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHH!!
screamed Rip Torn, putting himself into a beserk rage he ran straight into the swarm of gnolls, hitting left and right with abandon. loot included a battle axe of penetration and elven chain (which i sold), also the puppy was happily alive. awwwww.

On traveling to the village dungeon, rain rusted my axe of penetration, so am back to using my two hander of parrying, but on my travels in the Vd, a stream of acid poured down upon my rusty axe, destroying it. WRAGH! screamed Rip, flailing his swords around madly

Rip Torn is level 11

weapons: Two handed sword of parrying (+3, 3d5+3) [+16, +0]
dv/pv (very aggressive) 37/8
hp/pp 149/6
Gnolls killed:49
Large Gnolls:21
Gnoll Chieftans:2

Saved yriggs, and aquired a blinkdog corpse, and learnt healing from Jharod.

Rip Torn now looked to travel through that unreal dungeon in the north, which he had heard
led to a high mountain village (wait a minute, i travel *down* through that dungeon and i arrive *up* in the high mountain village? go figure)

Ud2, 3 and 8 gave herbs, but not many morgia and marilon, apart from that, the Ud was a sad affair of mediocracy

d5> exciting hobgobs

dwarf town, kill a goblin, found spear of devastation.
d7> herbs and ring shop
d9> exciting orcs

d12> exciting spiderville, which gave me the executioner axe as a random drop! WooP!

Rip Torn is now level18, and has done darkforge (easy due to executioner, although health
went down to 6 at one point, found quarterstaff of devastation as well as a few goodies-
no artifacts other than Crown of Science, then went and obliterated the pyramid, stopped of at the barbarians glade and learnt courage, then went to the dwarven graveyard, purified and dug griffs grave, killed nonnak, got the gauntlets, dug up all the great treasure graves (got girdle of giant strength+12, some good potions and the FINE LEATHER ARMOUR! arrrr poo, Rip Torn dosent like torso armour, it itches....

Gnolls killed so far...
gnolls: 137
Large gnolls: 89
gnoll chieeftans: 8
Total: 234

Gremlin bombed in the Tohkings, killed many grems, and got a cursed amulet of lifesaving(YaY!) as well as maces of destruction, sword of sharpness, some good potions and scrolls, no djinns or glowing wands, and unfortunatley for Rip Torn, he found black and white dragon scale (as well as the fine leather armour, rip has immunity to all 4 elements, but he doesnt wear itchy armour :p), also found two helms of water breathing, which he refuses to wear - need to find an amulet of Waterbreathing so i can kil the water dragon...

xp18, figured out i could just use a blessed ring of the fish (dUh), also learnt slow monster from a wand of wonder, so yay. one tremendous blow (adamantium quarterstaff of devastation, took the dragon to critically injured, then one more normal smavk, and BooM!

rip torns is level 32!)

Now am feeding the ratling, phial, mummy, fine leather, nonnak, big punch, moon sickle.
All done!, from grems and dragon i have a scroll of danger, PoCC, monster creation...
Rip Torn hasnt found any seven leauges yet, and am waiting for a giant boar..

Just got my first corruption as Rip went to the surface, funnily enough, YOU RAGE!!!!

--------------------
After satisfying the old crone, i finished all my lawful quests i'd had saved, and took a beggar to the arena, after 3 times of buyiing out the stock i was ready to get crowned>

came away with skull crusher and immunity to fire> Its a bout time Rip Torn took on the ancient chaos wyrm...
Afetr a bit of a battle against elementals, servants and grues, Rip unleashed a tremendous
blow with executioner, hitting the Ancient Chaos Wyrm with full force (and executeing it)

Right, of to save khelly with my AoLS that i got from the grems...

just got a glowing wand drop from the dwarven graveyard under the dh halls!, eck, only one charge, used for find weakness and seven leauge boots.
------------------------

Rip torn is now level33

gnolls killed:494
large gnolls killed:294
Gnoll chieftans killed:31

Grand total so far:819, and theyre already starting to pack a punch.

Am heading towards casino, came across an exciting vault of Giants.

Found the Eternal Guardian, and took him down with skullcrusher and executor, went from

lvl33 to lvl 35, *and* stayed lawfull+

Right, thats all for now.
Ps, I love barbarians, they are unstoppable

Female High Elven Weaponsmith born on Wolf. Her goals are not too tight, mostly see how far can she get in this dangerous land. She wants to become powerful and live a long life. She doesn't want to die.
"name: G Rief Race: female High Elf Class: Weaponsmith
Eye color: golden Hair color: silver Complexion: light
Height: 5'11" Weight: 121 pounds
Age: 205 (grown-up)
Star sign: Wolf Birthday: 24/Wolf (day 324 of the year)

YOUR HISTORY:
Your parents are travelling adventurers. They are doing moderately
well but are talented enough to survive.
As a child you lived through happy days. Your parents tried to ease
your life as much as possible and gave you a lot of comfort.
In your youth you became seriously ill and suffered for many years.
When your disease finally was cured you were left weakened, both
physically and spiritually, and bereft of the joys of youth.
As a young adult you spent a lot of time searching for a deeper
meaning and purpose in your life. You pondered and pondered but nothing
truly sparked your interest. Finally, after many many hours, you made a
decision.
You decided to become a Weaponsmith.

G Rief St:17 Le:14 Wi:14 Dx:21 To:14 Ch: 5 Ap:15 Ma:15 Pe:18 L
DV/PV: 15/5 H: 22(22) P: 9(9) Exp: 1/0 M: 8"

She will show to world that she is not weak anymore. She wants to prove it to herself too, but she doesn't admit it. She is afraid that she will become weak again. But she knows that this time only the strong will survive, and there is no place for weakness.
---
G. Rief began her trip by visiting the tiny hamlet and buying some food and talking to local people. She decided to help the little girl and the village elder. The druid seemed to be a wierdling blabbering about nonsense, and G. Rief didn't feel interested to help him.

After visiting the village she headed to northwest to see what was waiting her behind the plains. But she didn't have much luck with her. She was ambushed by hobgoblin patrol. After fighting, running and fighting she managed to flee from those nasty beings... She decided that she will have her revenge sometimes!

She found a skeleton guarding the first room in the small cave. She hacked the ol' heap of bones to dust and read the scrolls that she found from the stairs. The words in the paper made her decision easy: The objective, whatever it would be, was too far away from her reach. At that moment. She decided to see what was in the caves that little girl and the village elder told about. On the way to there she was ambushed by bandits, and again she had to fight for her life... She survived and fled again. Again an oath for revenge was sworn. But now she gained some experience in combat. The killing was slowly coming easier, both physically and mentally...

She ventured into village dungeon. On the way down she became more powerful, and killed heaps of enemies. On sixth level of the dungeons she found an altar. She converted the altar to suit her needs and make her god happy. On the next level she found a room filled with fire lizards. Fortunately she was used to great heat because she was an weaponsmith, and she had a ring of fire resistance. She sacced all the fire lizards among many, many other living beings.

After long days of sacrificing to her god and visits to village for food Corellius awarded her with iron gauntlets that made her feel much more powerful.

On the next dungeon level she found the mad carpenter. She thought that maybe act of mercy would satisfy the healer she ran into few dungeons ago.. And besides, the man was pretty handsome :). So she led the mad carpenter to this man, Jharod was his name?. As she thought, Jharod was able to heal this poor madman. Jharod awarded G. Rief with ability to heal.

Then She realised that it was a long time since the little girl asked her to find her puppy... She panicked and immediately went to save the puppy, but she had a bad feeling...

She went to puppy cave. But on the second level she found that a river was blocking her path. And she didn't want a bath, the river was too wide and deep, and she didn't know how to swim... She was sad for the little girl, but she promised that she would solve the destiny of the puppy later on.

Now she realised that the small cave northeast was left unexplored.. And what did she find on the way to the dungeon? A party of hobgoblins, the same that attacked her when she was weak.. She decided to massacre the damned beings. She went totally mad when she saw the leaders commanding other hobgoblins to attack her. She slew their leaders, and then the rest of the puny beings...

Descending through the small cave and the levels below it she found herself from a mountain village. She found a hidden passage, which she used to get out, and she got some firm soil below her iron boots.

She headed to caverns of chaos. On her way down she found an arena, and two vaults.

Unfortunately she met her end on D:9. She died to blood poisoning.

I'll join in too. I want whatever character to go far, atleast to pyramid and some good artifacts.

I already generated but was waiting to post. Anyway, I got a high elven Necromancer. Yuk, I got one kinda far but it didn't work out. Anyway, it went kinda well actually. I went in SMC cave and got herbs (pepper petal, morgia). I wandered around but got stopped by an elusive hidden room on the bottom. So, I wandered around and got some water. Did I mention there was a altar in the dungeon *cough*precrown*cough*. He is level 12 and rolling nicely. I want to get precrowned atleast twice using stoma. I went and got healing along the way found 30s SLBs! Currently am looking for some more water to get a second farm of stoma. Plus got lots of nice spells like fireball so pyrmaid should be a snap. Going to spend the next long bit of time harvesting. Also, I had a friend who can't post do this. He got a HE thief and got eternium halberd in SMC and an altar. Sacced a bit then died.
I'll post more tommorrow.
Edit 1:I played a little bit more. Got precrowned once, Scorched spear. I'm trying to get crowned, but need L+. I meeled the pyramid. Also got a random drop of jet black glaive.Did graveyard, am currently looking for wish for AoLS. I'ma play it more tomorrow.
Edit 2: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I died. I got an AOLS and gave to khelly, did darkforge, did parts of bug temple to get speed, was just getting willpower up and was doing CoC graveyard. I had some 20000+ stones.... You fill in the blanks. If you'll excuse me, I have some crying in a corner to do.
Homework is not meant for home! It's a sick verbal coincidence!

Ok, here goes, i been playing adom for ages and the random charactor generator always kills me early. So if i can save the puppy, either save the carpenter or kill the bad druid and kill hoz i'll be happy. any more is just a bonus.

Here goes.

Update below

Hmm - rolled the month of tree (hope i get a mind craft) - ha i got a orc bard, never tried this combo before so i'm sure i wont last long

Well, i had lots of skills which surprised me but as expected i didnt last long, lots of locked doors and after taking a few explosions i fell to the ants on level 2 of puppy cave, my dire wolf tried to help but we were overpowered trying to get to the down stairs, ran into a cat and closed the door to kill him when i had more exp but didnt get the chance obviously.

I"m new to the forums in posting so you will see more of me soon.

Cant wait until Jade gets a release date until then i'll be playing Adom

I got a male dark elven thief, born in the month of the Sword. His name shall be Datheeve.

Thank you very much, RNG. It could have been a Raven high elven archer, but nooo...

Anyway. Since I want this to be a really special dark elven thief, I've devised some goals that are only suitable for the ultimate thief challenge:

Maximize Pickpocket, Pick Locks and Stealth. Every one of those skills maximized will score 50 points. (Every thief has to learn the essentials.)

Gain levels. Every level on the way scores 10 points. Attain level 50 to gain an additional 200 points.

Obtain a complete collection of keys. Every key scores 2 points, every complete collection will score an additional 100 points. The silver key counts as two complete collections. (You can pick a lock, but not having to is even better)

Pickpocket. Every "unique" person successfully pickpocketed scores 50 points. ("-foo- appears to have nothing of value" counts as success)
(Any thief will seek to rob the heroes of their riches.)
Pickpocketing Yergius will score you 200 points. (You truly are a master of thievery.)
Pickpocketing Andor Drakon successfully will score you 5.000.000 points. This does not require you to win the game afterwards. (You robbed WHAT? The Ultimate Chaos God? You so win the challenge.)
Succesfully pickpocketing an artifact or an item considered to be "worth a wish" (This includes SoCR, AoLS, eternium weapons or armor, PoGA, Swords of sharpness, phase daggers and other exceptional items, and also RoDS and the WoWi.) scores 100 points. (He who relieves other people of their greates valuables is a truly skilful thief.)

Attain invisibility. Every potion scores one point, every cape or ring scores ten points, Every 20 casting points of the Invisibility spell learnt scores one point, Brannalban's Cloak of Defense scores 200 points, Permanent invisibility scores 300 points. (He who cannot be seen is also a freaking good thief.)

Become boss of the thieves guild. This will score you 100 points. (Naturally.)

Rob any store you find. Every item stolen (taken out of) from a store scores 200 points, only 50 if detected (A true thief will not be detected!), but 150 again is the shopkeeper is outside the line of sight if you pick up the item (I. e, you tricked him, which is quite worthy of a thief and makes up for your being detected.)
Killing the shopkeeper and his thugs so the shop is free to rob will score you no points for the remaining items. (Thou shalt steal, not kill like some barbarian!)

I will carefully document my score, and post the result of my ultimate thief challenge here. Feel free to use the above rules to conduct your own ultimate thief challenge ;)

RAAAAARRGHHH! CURSES!

Died at level 1 in a fiery explosion. I carefully crafted myself an all-new challenge game just to die with the lowest score possible. (Which is, incidentally, 10 points for my level.)
You drop the golden ball.
You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west.
Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?"
Which direction? (123456789) 4
Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated.
You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd!

Ok. I'm in.
Or rather: Morgweg, the High Elven Necromancer, born in the month of the cup is ;)

When he was born the village elder was killed by a falling star. He is drawn to the dark arts and is already N+ when he entered the drakalor chain. His goal is to become evil and stay that way, and maybe become a chaos god. Though i will stay neutral for a while at least until i get to the dwarfen mystic...

Well, so much for planning: got killed by a berserker i wanted to sac. He hit me so hard that i was stunned, but somehow didn't notice until i read "you die..." *shrug*

Me's got a High Elven ranger, month of Salamander. Good skills, elven chain mail +5, long bow but... To 5!!! Damn. That's why I like Drakelings, and dislike High and Gray elves.
Well, she's gonna die quickly anyway.

My goal is find out what's going on in dat Chain, protect local forests from wildfires, earn a little bit of cash and eternal glory (just gate).

So, let's go to PC:1 first, right?
Oh. maan.. She wants 252 exp for second level. Insanity at a cost of fragility.
"You shudder" upon entering level means it's full of traps? I'm getting out of PC. Don't like dogs very much, anyway. To ID, then!

Id:1. Level 4. To 6 already. Found orcish spear, yay! Two shields afterwards..

Then, on ID6 - an explosive door, then an ogre. Bye-bye, punny elf!

Well, all right then.
Character name: Grothkweg - DEAD (-934 points)

Starsign: Wand (Lawful/harder to change, +10% +2 mana if neutral, +2 charisma, -10% spell cost if neutral)

Race: Orc
Class: Ranger
Gender: Male

Current talents: Long stride

Current location: Druid dungeon, level 1

Current level: 1

Current stats: St:20 Le:9 Wi:10 Dx:11 To:18 Ch:9 Ap:6 Ma:6 Pe:11

Current alignment: C

Notable occurences:
Met a writhing mass of primal chaos on the first level. AGAIN. Was not fast enough to run.

Creator's notes:
Well there we go again, second character to die from this thing. Traps really kill. I wonder how that whatever managed to trigger that corruption trap so many times to turn into a purple j that fast. It takes a loooong time when Im leading monsters on purpose (later game, for exp).

At least with other traps I can blame myself if I die when not at full health, but this sh*t is really impossible to stop.

Until christmas then.

i got a grey elf druid born in the month of the raven :P
i figured that'd be too easy so i decided to save that character for something else (if that's really not allowed i guess i can keep playing that druid) and got a dark elven elementalist born in the month of the dragon.
talents i picked were alert and healthy. stats are ok, but the 19hp really bothers me.

i talked to the druid and tiny girl then headed to the smc. no monsters there, door was locked so i went to the puppy cave.

first level of puppy cave was fine. there is an altar on the second level and the ant hole is in an isolated room. still, i'm not taking any risks and i'm heading to the druid cave now.
Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! Something on the ground is smashed to pieces!
PeanutGod: Awwww no! How harsh is that! This is where you need the artefact 'mop and bucket'.

my goal will be to close the gate and leave the chain alive.

cant find the stairs down in the first level of the cave, they're probably behind that locked door, so heading to ID :P

gained a few levels in ID then cleared the ants int he puppy cave. the altar is a chaotic one, so i got my piety up again (had used up two prayers to get rid of a poisoning before it killed me). the next puppy cave level was locked too so i went to the ID to gain some more levels and maybe find some keys.

gained up to level 10 in the ID before getting killed by a floating eye :(

Drakeling necromancer born in book with "The undead pack up and move away" birth bonus :D

Will edit once i get the character started.

Goals are rather simple. Kill the puppy himself, tell the girl what he's done, kill the girl and try to infest the town with zombies. Be them from farmers, Holeinthewall folk or other humanoids found on his adventure.

Game so far.. Dove into the puppy cave first off, but forgot to buy rations beforehand. Had to pray for food already. Raised zombies kept getting killed off quickly, so i raised my level untill i could summon a ghul. My kobold chieftan ghul absolutely slaughtered the ants, and am currently working my way towards the bottom.

Gah, dead. Made it to the vault level and my ghul instantly set off a snake pit trap. Tried to lead them up one at a time and let my ghul get some more training in. Bad idea, i got poisoned.

Prayers already ran out, managed to easily dispatch the rest of the snakes, plus a random viper with frostbolt, but i still died. Ghul just hanging about by my corpse now probably.

Hmm, time for a little go meself - hope it doesn't turn out as awfully as last time...

So, Cup-born (nice), grey elven (damn) barbarian (ah crap...) I'm awful with melee characters, and as a grey elven I'm just screwed... Starting stats are nice I guess (St 22, Le 16, To 16) but I have little faith in getting far. So this char will be pre-emptively named named Loser.

In terms of goals, One thing I'm gonne try is to play without consulting the guidebook all the time (as I normally do). Otherwise just do as well ass I can, and hopefully become an amazing melee master. Here goes nothin'...

Okay, that was the most pathetic game I've ever had. Went to Terinyo and picked up the quests, then went to the bandit village for first kill and Pick Pockets. Never achieved either. Got attacked by an outlaw, who stunned me, and then was ganged up on by a mugger and a bandit. Survived 20 hours and got 735 points :(

Month: Candle
Race: Male High Elf
Class: Paladin
Starting Talents: Alert, Miser
Name: Praetor

Starting Equipment: Elven chain mail [+0, +5], long sword, dagger, 3 loaves of elven bread

Goals: I shall slay many monsters and close the gate. Or die. I'm really happy the RNG didn't land me with a hurthling farmer or something like that, but a high elven meleer... well, we'll see.

After checking my stats, I think my character chose the wrong career. He should have been a bloody priest, not a paladin. St and To both at 10, Le at 21, with Ma at 15. Dx's at 17, though. At least I'll be able to learn spells well.

Argh... Died to a mimic on PC:4. A mimic in a potion shop. Blasted paralyzation. I knew I should've just gone berserker on it. I might have taken it out first then...
Molach: "I like to have 200+ hp and over 5 good healin potions when I do [the fire] temple. AND some way of killing the Wyrm"

Morio: "Some way of killing the worm is recommended, yes :D"

I joined the forum SPECIFICALLY to post in this thread. Sounds fun.

Mollard St:13 Le:12 Wi:15 Dx:14 To:15 Ch:15 Ap:11 Ma:18 Pe:15 N=

DV/PV: 17/2 H: 21(21) P: 24(24) Sp: 105

Long stride, quick.

Male Gnomish Priest born in the year of the Wolf. Unremarkable items and equipment.

After taking on the Raider Lord quest, Druid quest, and Cute puppy quest, he ventured into the small cave. He immediately picked up gauntlets of peace. After a rather dry experience in the puppy cave, he retrieved the poor dog and returned it to the girl. Next stop - Kranach, in the plains.

Okay, to my dismay, the Priest almost starved in the wilderness, and needed to retreat to the small cave to pray for free food. But that's okay - this was my nextstop anyway. He also blasted a bunch of Kobolds as he stepped in. Hello level 6, goodbye raider lord. In other news, Mollard is now "greased lightning".

The small cave was a bad idea. After being wedged between a chaos sister and a goblin chieftain, he eventually succumbed to blood loss, 3 paces away from the stairs. Tried to pray, and was deserted by god, yet again.
