I do live in Finland (as can be seen from my signature) and apparently the unreal J. is from Finland as well. I presume this forum has people from all over the world.

gravel: it's a common misconception/joke that in the northern lands (I guess it's Finland mostly, don't know about Sweden) people live in igloos and polar bears walk in the streets.

Not here, anyway. The nearest polar bears from here are probably due north in Ranua Zoo.

In Canada, we do have polar bears - outside of zoos, if you please -, there may be about 40 of them left, though I think Florida is nearer to me than the bears :-)

There should be polar bears in adom. They would be fiercer and more powerfull than grizzli bears. And cuter too.
