Hi gang! Nice forum here. Glad this game still has avid players. I was just wonder if anyone knows anything about a mere curiosity of mine - in the first level of the CoC, I came across a Giant Ant Warrior that was "slightly hostile" in disposition. I was just wondering if anyone knew why this was different then the standard "hostile" and details about it. |

Me thinks it's something connected with the creature's desire to chase you down. Something like that: a slightly hostile beastie might hit you severa times, and mind it's own business afterwards. Never paid attention to such details before, to be honest. Ubi patria ibi bene! |

Slightly hostile monsters are those who will probably not follow you if you leave without attacking. They can turn full on hostile easily if you attack them (or even if you don't). Sometimes, with cats, I found that if I never attacked them if they attacked me, they got "bored" and left again, giving me time to escape. Maybe they were "slightly hostile" too. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? (123456789) 4 Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated. You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd! |

When you summon monsters, with a wand or the similarly named spell, they always seem to be slightly hostile as well. "As for me, I feel priveleged to be among the only species able to make scientific inquiries." -unknown "Be sure to keep your distance if you don't have resistance." -DG |
