When you kill stuff in the darkness, you receive the message "you kill something" instead of the normal "you kill a <foo>". .. however, when you kill the first cat (wild cat / cave tiger / cave lion) in the darkness, you still receive the "roar" message ("the cat pathetically die, you hear a roar from etc etc etc"). So my questions are: 1) do you become cursed if you kill a wild cat in the dark? 2) wild cats, cave tigers and cave lions killed in the dark are still making the cat lord hostile? |

Doesn't matter what message you get or how you do it, if you kill the cat, the CatLord will be pissed off... Still, traps or other monsters might help you. |

It happens, because it's a game message for killing cats. It does not curse you in any way. Just exchanges a kickass ring for milions of xps. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. When you kill a wild cat.. you instantly become cursed. Try casting "revelation" before and after that kill. This is undocumented by Andy, but it's true, believe me. |
