My current character is a 41 level HE paladin. Until now I`ve done pretty much everything except the mana temple and CoC 50. I`m still looking for my 1st clean victory so I really want this guy to have the best chance at the last level. My stats are all about 35-45, I have DV/PV of 85/41 and about 700 hp. I also have the following artifacts: Justifier (crowning), Nature's Companion (pre-crowning), cloak of Oman (GV of undeads), boots of the divine messenger (Blup`s mom) and all the other guaranteed artifacts. Where should I go next? Should I take take my chance on level 50? I can still milk the blue dragon caves a little bit more till I`ll reach level 45. I really don`t want to go for the ID because I`ve only 4 SoCR left (and 1 wish). |

The rift can be good for exp and SoCR, but I suspect that you may have done that already. You could take a shot at the cat lord, and Sharad Waador. The mana temple will give you quite a bit of experience, as will level 50 iteslf come to that. I've never been a level 50 charactere going down to the final level, but always end up level 50 when going through / closing the gate. Have you done the Unicorn quest? This will buy you a free of chaos status if you need experience, but cant afford the chaos affects. Good luck |

I already did the cat lord, rift and Sharad Waador. I`m saving the unicorn quesy for more severe situation, as for right now I only have 2 corraption. |

Go for D50? Just make sure you get your portable wish with you. For the Horde! |

I'm only bringing up the unicorn quest in case you want to spend time in the blue dragon caves. You can gain exp, and not worry about the chaos effects. Clean yourself up just prior to hitting level 50. Doesnt leave a pretty ending for your character, but it may help with a win. Personally I think that you will be fine without getting the extra levels. |

You can easily win entering D50 on level 30-ish, the balors are there to help you level up :) I only managed to enter D50 at clvl 50 when going for ultra win, in which case I had to get to lvl 45 for the assassin prince, then Emperor Moloch usually gave me the rest of levels. |

Oh, and Nuurag-Vaarn is usually worth a few levels. |

I did it!!! FIRST WIN EVER!!! CoC was easier then I thought, Justifier made most of the job. There`s nothing like win ADOM in a clean way, without save-scumming. |

Congratulations! Justifier in hands of a paladin is a truly deadly weapon. Not only it does double damage when your class is paladin, it's a demon slayer, which means another 2x damage against balors, and when it's blessed, another 1.5x - so your damage gets multiplied by six times! |

Yeah. And there is one guaranteed demon slayer - rune-covered trident. My favourite weapon for killing balors when I don't have the TotRR. |
