Bug temple above ground has the same corruption rate as D20. The bug cave underground has the same corruption rate as D40. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

presumably both no longer corrupt after the gate is closed, not too many areas do after that. |

To my knowledge, after the gate is closed, there will be no background corruption at any place in the game. You just need to watch out for corruption traps, monsters with corrupting melee attacks, carrying items that are corrupting, and potions of raw chaos effects (if dipping). Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! |

The SIL level, the Emperor Moloch's level and the Steel Golem Forge (forgot the name of that level ;P) corrupt even after you close the gate. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |
