A vast number are duplicates, or misreported. xhoc3 on rgra has compiled most of them into a fairly simple list, and there are very few that are all that serious: http://www.geocities.com/adombugs/ Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

Yeah, I don't know how many bugs there are in the game, but it's quite playable I'd say :) This one sounds a bit weird: "DV bonus For monks:If you wear fancy/ugly clothes or a blood-stained robe you won't get the DV bonus despite their lightness. For beastfighters: There is no such armor restriction as for monks." This would imply that there should be an armor restriction for beastfighters also. Why so? Is this hinted at anywhere, in documentation or game code, that beastfighters should also use light armour to get the DV bonus? I think their DV bonus is to balance the fact that they can't use a shield. It's not as big as the bonus monks get, anyway. This one: "# Greater white unicorn Missing 'to' in its speech: 'Once I will be able all corruption that has been inflicted upon you.'" Seems like there's more missing than just 'to' :) If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Here is a small exploitable bug that's not on the list (you probably know already): When attacking non-hostiles you are asked if you really want to and can abort your attack by pressing "n". You can repeat this until you get the message if you really want to BACKSTAB the monster - granting a 100% backstab on hit. Useful to train backstab while it's still very low... |

that isn't very exploitable. the biggest game-breaking bug: the ants on puppy cave 2 are hostile to druids, but, as a druid, if you attack them back, you get SPAMMED by the "ant roars in fury" as if he was neutral. I have on rare occasions encountered hostile ants in PC:2. I don't know if it is something the PC does or a random (rare) game effect. Put me in the 'fool filter', where I belong! |
