What's the deal? First I find the guidebook blocked. Then I almost crap myself when I see a link posted to where I can download one. None of the links are working. Did they go guidebook hunting on the web and kill them all? WTF? |

http://www.geocities.com/darrenjohngrey/adomgb-html.zip That link works, doesn't it? It did for me just now... You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? ..nah, that's the near pant-poo inducing link. It goes to a "Opening ogb-html.zip" window. ....... ok? So as I'm sitting here planning to explain that the ok button is faded, it becomes available. That did it. I've clicked around on that little screen plenty. Thank you. |

Save the file to your computer somewhere and unzip from there then. There's nothing wrong with the link, just your browser being funny. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

Firefox does that sometimes. Like a little imp sitting there thinking: "Should I let him download this or not... Not right now... Let's make him get super-pissed first!" You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? Someone has set up an online version. The mirrored Andy Williams' ADoM guidebook I was going to post this at the official forum but couldn't because of the database error. |

Brilliant - thanks a lot for that Nezur. I note it's actually using the copy I put up, heh, and not the latest version. Certainly very handy for now though. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

Refresh it, maybe? It works for me now, too. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! Creoth: Have you tried clearing your cache? The download might have failed the very first time you tried downloading, and it stored the unfinished file and just find it in Temporary Internet files when you re-try. |
