how can i get one? im going to try for the WoD ending as my first win...but i cant find a WoD. I've drained the pools in DF...i was really dumb and forgot that dooming = no wish. i havent found any wish-granting items... im thinking of doing PoE possibly. i think im going to try the rift, and possibly ID scum if i cant find anything there. any suggestions? EDIT: got spellbook of wish from the library. im now contemplating how to/if i should bother reading the book + casting the spell. EDIT2: managed to read+cast wish without a whole lot of difficulty...not too bad for lvl 39 imho...the stat drained was str. that's really annoying, cause my wizard really uses his strength a lot *rolls eyes* anyway, i got two wands of destruction, one without charges and the other with 1. im gonna try to close the gate tomorrow. =) (still though, tips on getting wish-granting items+WoDs would be nice ^^) [Edited 1 time, last edit on 9/14/2008 at 22:35 (GMT -5) by tipo mastr] |

Well, MY advice would've been to just go and do it without that wand. A wizard is powerful enough to clear D:50 fifty times over. Yours was as well, seeing as you managed to cast wish you probably had more than decent Mana and Learning and were sure to have access to a nice array of spells. Apart from that, I'd probably have advised repeated restockings of the casino, and true, a spellbook of Wish is guaranteed for wizards in the Library, so well done on that. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? If your wizard can cast wish, he can clear D50. For the balors: Acid ball is your best friend, but acid bolt will get you there too. Hell, magic missile will do the job if you've trained it up. For everything else: IceBall is actually my fave, as it causes less item destruction, followed by magic missile. |
