Got the Medal of chaos, after much trouble locating the skull (I had everything else, even the PoCC from the fool, which I think I got from one of those 6 potions of booze). Heading off to get the crown on Darknight (packed a few dragon slaying arrows to go with). I haven't even saved Khelly yet. ;-). I've gotten back to lawful, and converted the dwarftown altar (after hiding the priest in the dwarven weaponmaster's place and locking the door.). Saved Khelly too, used the scroll of Chaos Resistance from HMV to remove my corruption from the Medal of Chaos. Finishing up the dwarven quests. Now on the arena's last fight. Gah!My boomerang smashed after I foolishly threw it at a wall.And I was having fun,too. :( I'm in the CoC now,currently Lv9,too.Got my ass severely corrupted by a Chaos Monk.Drinking a potion of balance,my strength was increased to 21! ^^ But for that,my perception was reduced to 12,which sucks.A lot. Lured a farmer into the SMC and lef thim there until I get the crone's quest. Gone down the VD with a DV of 61 on coward. Found a charred tome (not reading until I get a bit more experienced). Rescued Yrrigs and got healing from Jharod, and now going for the CoC. 25 rocks? Tharanduil has... 634 normal arrows, 105 ego arrows, 12 arrows of -foo- slaying, and 5 arrows of slaying. Killed Keriax, after nearly dieing to him. Used dragon slaying ammo up. Ate his corpse, got corrupted. Used some of the SoCR I got from the mystic to patch myself up. Heading down to the Water temple now, I think. Forgot about Griff, went and cleaned out the area. Ran out of holy waters after I was done in there. Grabbed elemental gauntlets+sword. Went back to darkforge (after I grabbed the artifact crown for ratling) and killed most of the golems. Grabbed a Red Dragon scale mail. Started drinking from the pool, got some resistances. Went back down, cleared out water temple, went down a level. Lightning lizard vault/horde was generated, gained shock resistance and maybe immunity. Heading off for the ToEF after getting some more potions from the fool. Found a ring of ice on the floor of the ToEF. Nearly died laughing. I already had one though. Killed the Orb guardian, cleared the room. Ate his corpse, used a couple of PoCCs to get rid of corruption. Found a ring of regen, put it on. Andor Drakon what are ego arrows? Cos there I looked it up in the Guidebook and there is no such prefix. And Jonsey congratulations for reaching the Coc first but just out of curiosity where did you find the AoLS was it in the ID? So far I only found 1 in the Casino in my last game in version 1.0.0. I found the amulet in the cave of Blup's mom. Ego arrows are arrows like '-foo- of darkness, of targeting, etc.' I got crowned lawful, and I'm now treking to go convert all the Orb altars (rumor has it that you get a WoWI when you get to CoC:50, doing it just in case). I just found I that I found 18 artifacts, so I can't be postcrowned anymore (Level 30, lol). Good thing I gave the crappy artifacts to the ratling. the scythe of corruption "Moon Sickle" the lead-filled mace "Big Punch" the phial of Caladriel the crown of science the fine leather armor "Nature's Companion" the ancient mummy wrapping I rarely used any of those, except for Big Punch. Executioner reached level 12, and was killed by a greater claw bug. Stupid, stupid mistake. Until that point his 'precious' was a sling of accuracy, no big deal. Alas! Great lord Tharanduil lies slain upon the field of battle, his heart pierced by the dark sword of a chaos warlord. I knew it would happen. Had a run of bad luck... First my quicksilver quarterstaff gets smashed by an exploding rune, then a master mimic takes me down to 17 HP, then I don't realise how hungry i'm getting, my strength lowers and so I get onto Strained! and fall down the stairs, then I drink a potion of extra healing, leaving me with none left. Then I found a vault of gnolls, getting me back on low HP, and so I decided to wait it out, only to, when I step out of the room, get surrounded by spiders summoned by one of those (#(!^#! dark elven princesses, failed to notice that "C" through all those spiders until it was too late. One critical and he's dead. (and what were a chaos warlord and a dark elven princess doing in the upper CoC anyway?) ChAoS iS cOmInG! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm having a great ol' time with the banshee in the animated forest. That's happened to me a lot. I'm sick of those dark elven priestess/princess/wizard. Damned annoying. Damn. ADOM crashed. Good thing I have a backup, but it's about 4 hours old. Almost everything is there though, it seems like I've been messing around in the Animated forest for quite a while. My last backup seems to have been around the post with the statues. can we restart? my first character (boy, i'm way behind) was a female gnomish druid. was gonna try the puppy quest then back out if it became too tough. i was lucky, got the puppy, gained lots of levels, fairly decent equipment. got killed in the big room. i was pretty low on hp, so was killing off more dangerous monsters with lightning bolts. and then i run into this kobold chieftain. kill him with a lightning bolt that drains some hp. i'm left with 6 hp, take one step, a stoneblock hits my head and down i go to -29hp gonna restart, lol Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! Something on the ground is smashed to pieces! PeanutGod: Awwww no! How harsh is that! This is where you need the artefact 'mop and bucket'. |

long time since posted last... Livina the female gray elven barbarian is now at level 18. learned pickpocket and detect traps from yergius, then turned lawful. Healing from the healer. afetr killing the golems with arrows loaned from some barbarians got an eternium halberd and a green eternium ring mail from the darkforge... I think I pickpocketed a ring of djinni summoning, but not sure. anyway, wished for AOLS. the first dwarf quest was to kill a specter. damn. still haven't found one. did the griff quest, ate some corpses.with herbs and some potions of exchange stats are : st 29, le 17, wi 26, dex 21, to 17, ch 28, app 21, ma 16, pe 26 champion of the arena, got tactics and the skills from tha gladiator. bows 11, swords 10, shields 9 I'm going to the ToEF got a ring of ice, the elemental gauntlets, fireproof blankets, blessed cloak of invisibility, some slaying ammo... (the cloak really helped me to get herbalized in the big room...) And my point was... |
