OOC: Since I don't think that he will be coming back I think it would be safe to go with that order. I will post regularily on the week days and try to post regularily on the weekends. But, If I am unavailable you guys can go ahead without me if you wish. The most likely day I will not have net access is sundays (I'm usually havin' beers on fri or sat...at a buddies house so I can post from there, But Sundays I am usually at home with the wife. OOC: Sorry for breaking the post order, but I'm impatient to continue. IC: As they were walking to explore the settlement, Xel'lotath suddenly started to feel being crippled. "What's the problem?" asked Ydreab. Latien suddenly realised their stupidity. "Maybe she digested a drop or two of that fluid!" he cried. They started to run... and then they sighted a shop. "Try here! Maybe we can get an antidote." The company walked into the store. As the shopkeeper greeted them, Ydreab spotted something. "Look! Potion of cure poison!" --------- - 740 gp- --------- But Latien sighed, broken in his will. "How can we afford this? All we got from the goblins is 168 gold!" "Then we have 494 gold pieces!" Latien said, after racking his brains for a while." And Ydreab answered in an instant: "I'm a poor haggler, but I may be able to buy it! Wait a moment!" So the fighter and the shopkeeper started talking... arguing... shouting. The gnome came back. "I managed to get it for 612. But..." "Hey!" shouted Latien, who suddenly sighted the man who they saved. He had a dagger in himself and he was apparently dead. He ran there and looted him. "Well, this leather armor is sturdier than my robe... and here is a bag of money! Exactly 1000 gold pieces! Yippeeyay!" And so he ran back to his companions. A minute later, Xel was already slurping the antidote. "But how to divide up our money?" asked she suddenly. Great...it happened again -_-' You're here right after I leave...grr...my timing sucks. "Heh...what happened to this?" was referring to "I suppose I will not continue," which was followed by "Be it pointless or not now, I will continue it-and finish it! OOC (whatever that means): Remember English isn't my native language so don't flame me because of bad quality story. :) IC: The sky was filled blazing stars. It was 11 o'clock when they arrived in Terinyo. The company was very tired so they walked to the local Karmic Chicken Inn. Latien asked Zlatt, the drakish innkeeper: "How much for rooms for four people? For one night." Zlatt stared at the group and seemed to be very scared. "What's wrong, you look like you saw a ghost!" Asked Xel'lotath. "The writings have come true!" Screamed the innkeeper. "Here...! Take these keys to your rooms... Free of charge!" Surprised, the company took the keys and went to upstairs, unlocked the doors and went to sleep. In the morning there was a very dull weather. It was dark and stormy outside. The company went downstairs where many people sat eating breakfast. "Hello, did you sleep well?" Asked Zlatt happily. "Nay... It be hard to sleep when there's storming outside." answered Cortez. The group sat down and Zlatt brought them some hurthling bread, scrambled eggs and water. "Free for you guys." Zlatt smiled. The group ate and was leaving but then Zlatt came and said: "Hey wait. The keys, please?" "Oh yes, right, the keys." Ydreab muttered and gave them to him. Zlatt said: "Guys, you should go to see the village elder. He has been waiting for you for a long time." As they were walking towards the elder's house,they heard a strange noise. "What's this?" asked Xel'lotath. "Dunno," came the answer from Ydreab. "It was like a weapon crashing with a shield." Meanwhile, they arrived. The elder greeted them, introduced himself and started to tell the story. "So, about six weeks ago, our carpenter decided to explore the dungeons... What's that noise?" IC: Cortez looked out, and saw an army of orcs! He screamed: "Holy pit viper!" and the company turned and saw the frightening orc warriors. The village elder rang the alarm gong and got his hand crossbow and knife from the desk. Latien muttered some cryptic words and casted a cone of ice at the orcs trying to get in to the house. Five orcs screamed in horrible pains, froze to death and fell to the floor, now covered in snow and frost. Ydreab and Xel'lotath drew their weapons and ran outside to fight the countless masses of orcs. Cortez aided the fight by slinging rocks at the enemy with deadly accuracy. "They are too many! We can't keep fighting forever!" Shouted Ydreab. At the very same moment, an orc scorcher targeted a vital spot and hit him. Ydreab screamed and dropped his weapon. "Ydreab, go inside, quick! I can take 'em!" Xel'lotath cried. As the orc scorcher was swinging his battle axe to finish off the poor gnome, a cloaked shady person came from the shadows and impaled the orc with his shining long spear. With swift movements the person slaughtered tens of orcs. With the aid of the Terinyo's people the orcs fell one by one and the rest ran away screaming in terror! The village was saved... Ydreab was lying inside the elder's hut. Jharod, the healer was treating the wound in the gnome's right arm. When he was finished he said: "Well, I'm going to find Yrrigs now. Wish me good luck." With this the healer departed and went to south-east. Suddenly the cloaked shady person came in. "Blessed be thee. You saved me, brother!" Ydreab said. "No problem, fella" Answered the person and removed his cloak... |
