In pure weight/nutrition relation, stoma is the best. You should have other food available too, though, in case you don't want to be bloated during a major battle. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? (123456789) 4 Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated. You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd! |

Uncursed stoma does nicely for just getting you to Satiated - I prefer it to blessed in fact. (Blessed is far better for saccing though) Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

What DOES happen if you steal an item from a shop, don't hostile the shopkeeper, and then come back later and try to sell it to them? Hey, for all they know, you could have killed the actual thief and not known the item was stolen, eh? Two words, plausible deniability. Blessed Stoma also will reduce your speed by 10 and your to hit by 2, and your dv by 2. Not so sexy in the early/mid game. Once your speed and to hit and DV become higher it's manageable, although not ideal. Darren : 3 Cooked Lizard to satiate? We aren't playing the same game, I'll check again eventually I didn't tried them all. Battle : I haven't seen yet the casino, for stoma, the current char don't know Herbalism, only Gardening (Joys of skills random!). With a previous farmer, I tried eat some and one seed feed me full. Definitely what could help me with the current Troll, alas without Herbalism I haven't seen yet how get those seeds. |

If you bought cursed lizards, then it's 6 to satiate, the ratling traders sell them at random B/U/C status, if I remember correctly. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

While herbalism is very nice, it can be easily made up for with identification and holy water. Problem solved. (\_/) (o.0) (> <) ( / \ ) Don't click this http://www.mindistortion.net/iwantyoursoul/?i_am=Darkcutter |

Sure, you can identify and bless the herbs without the herbalism skill, but gathering them will take a lot more time without the skill, because the grade of the bush will always go down one step when you pick a herb without the skill, So even if the bush is full of blossoms, you can only get 3 herbs from it before it dies. Ok thanks for the advices. Well I'll try go with the cooked lizards. In some previous plays I tried them but probably got cursed stuff, I didn't notice the feeding was ok. In this game, I tried various stuff, more stuff only Trolls can eat and got few weird results. I tried the cooking lizards and certainly got a blessed pack (dam I should have buy more than 30!) and 3 put me in satiety when used just after hunger state. Well with cursed packs 6 will be a lot because Trolls needs to feed very often. But that will be improve a lot my carrying problems. It's weird I didn't find that by myself. :-) |

To put things into perspective: the cooked lizard gives 250/500/750 satiation points(C/U/B), which is equal to iron/large rations, loaf of bread, dwarven sausage, piece of dry meat. For their weight, 3s, that's pretty good. Stomafillia is 550/2000/6250. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. You are saying it's same feeding for cooked lizard than large ration? Are you sure? For me 3 normal large ration are enough to reach satiety. For cooked lizard they need to be bless. What are the level of statiation/hungry? Smae for any char? It's clear that a Troll is just a moving stomach but not clear that its satiation level is higher, it just consume it much faster. |

I'm pretty sure, it's what the the guidebook says :) Maybe your cooked lizards are cursed? If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Yes I saw that, a lot of my experience was done with farmer so intense cooking that double corpse nutrition value, this gave me some false hints about feeding values. With my troll bard I had to change point of view about feeding management but didn't took care enough in observation. Anyway the cooked lizards is a good suggestion, I'll just drop those cursed. |

Why? They're still better food than most stuff you'll find. Just eat them first :) You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Nope their click ratio is too weak, not a problem of weigh. :-) SI and not resist read the corruption chapter in the guide made me see things differently, I'm not in a hurry anymore, 90 days limit is far behind and it seems to be the only time limit. And SI provides me a solid income through time. So why not drop boring cursed cooked lizard if I can get much better cooked lizards? |
