Anarchy2 IIRC using torch's or a Amulet of Light are way easier and you will also need Detect Traps & Diasrm Traps skills of 100 because when the gremlins step on the water traps they duplicate so the easiest way the kill them is hack your way through to to trap the stand on it and disarm it then kill the remaining gremlins. Spoiler

By the way, today is the sixth of January. This thing ends on the fourteenth! By now you should be entering the caverns of chaos, although I am not there yet :) Oh yes, and Bob began with a (+4, +2) sling! Its like an artifact to me :D How is everyone else going? Whoever is interested in Ssarrs (female drakeling mindcrafter) slow progress, I'm reporting about her in my first post (the third one on page 1). I don't have so much time to play, but this way she is less likely to die from stupid mistakes that I always tend to make when I've been playing for a long time. Ssarr is right now in the dwarf town, but she has skipped UD and HMV for now. |

Aragorn is currently lv.14 and on the Si lv of the CoC and on his way to Dwarftown and is now C so he can try to get the MoC. Livina, the level 22 gray elven barbarian was slain in the plains by a large, experienced jackal pack after she had escaped (barely alive) from a 69-eyed beast (after trying to melee it for some unknown reason..) that paralyzed her. she then was ambushed by the pack, and slain... her bows skill was at 12 =) dang... okay, Singo, the hurtling wizard, born in the month of the tree has started her adventures. she has killed hotzenplotz and the bouncers, killed lotsa gremlins with light spell and still hasn't found the phial. I lost my char (again) to the same bug. Thankfully, I was only playing for about 5 minutes from the old save. But I did get a beserker emperor as my companion, via wedding ring. Edit:What luck! I got a BESERKER vault. Nice. Killed everyone, got the king to be my companion. Lost the king to... something, I forgot. Got to the casino, found a beserker emperor there. Got him as a companion. Had him kill all the guards. Had him (attempt) to kill the shopkeeper. Killed the shopkeeper without losing my champion status (didn't even go down to L). Raiding the casino. No artifacts, but a couple of good weapons, and ammo. A lot of books, scrolls and potions. EDIT: You are going to need this knowledge. Saved me from the nasty corruption. Wearing the elemental gauntlets cuts corruption in half. 0.10.2.4.3 When used Wearing the elemental gauntlets halves the amount of corruption caused. (Recent posting by ToGU about a guidebook update) Here's the whole info. I'm starting a Dark Elven Necromancer,and I started with...a book titled 'The Collected Works Of Confucious'.I read it,and Confucious says:"They say that Infinity doesn't allow the same place twice." Woo!I restarted my char as a High Elven Archer,and I found a Sickle Of Lightning! SHOCKING.Ask my victims. :D EDIT: I found two Amulets Of Beauty(Ap+5),and an Amulet of Defense(+2). *snicker* Oh,f**k.I lost my prized longbow to a fireball trap.Great.Now that I lost my primary weapon as an archer,I'm sure to die sooner or later. :( Well,I did found a sling and a few balanced lead sling bullets,so that'll have to do. :) Fear me not,I'll go nice on you....For now. Try killing a few barbarians/raiders. You'll get some short bows, but it's better than nothing. My char is doing nicely. He's at level 34 (I think) and on D:34 ( I think). I killed off the Great Black Unicorn, and went to the Library and gave the weird tome to the Minstril (5 SoCR helps a lot in your quests). Going down to level 34, a "You feel truly excited" was generated. Well, cool. Oh, shit, it's a karmic vault. My fire elemental is still killing some of the lizards, and I'm getting my Magic Missile spell up quite a bit. This better be worth it. Aaragorn died tragically in the Dwarfen Halls beacuse I originally passed the Animated Forest because I'm invisible and have a stealth lv of 100 so I went to Khelly's level and killed all the Chaos Sevants surrounding him but I didn't have a AoLS so I decided to ascend to the top of the CoC but for some reason eventhough I had teleport control and teleportation instricts(which I got from the pools in Darkforge)I it would teleprots me randomly anywhere I mean I know you can't teleport to a square where a monster is but all the trees had suurounded my so unless there was all these trees that I coundn't see I'd say I just found a new bug. So I went up through the Dwarfen Halls then FUCK! there he was a Greater Titan who can see invisible and shoot Eternium Arrows well you know the rest of the story... But on the brighter side at leats I had the following instricts to show for it.
