Then there was the time that I *FINALLY* got a second character down to the Temple of Elemental Water and proceeded to blast away with fire spells. All was good until I realized the elementals could see through my Invisibility... and their water blasts creamed me down to 10hp! Of course, I just try to RUN and get killed with a ranged water-breath. I forgot about: Praying The potions of ultra-healing in my backpack Sigh.... -- Starhawk |

My most stupid death...I believe I was a necromancer,and I started with a potion of wonder,which I drank immediately,and learned a spell called 'Divine Intervention'.I was pretty new to the game and had no idea what it did,so I quickly looked at the cost...'16pp,fair enough.'.So I cast it,and then after my hp went down to around -800 I noticed my mistake...it was actually 1600pp.Oh well. Let this account be a lesson to you all - Remember your password! |

I was in the small cave, level 5 or so, and I ran into a Writhing Mass of Primal Choas. Needless to say, my charater was instantly obliterated. |

Pathic deaths not as bad as this a mindcrafter (dark elf of coarse) was (I thought that Z didn't mean wight I just wasn't there) and was blasted to death. "Thank you for the lastest release of gradwrecker 1.0, my G.P.A. just went in the corner and shot itself!" |

I've had quite a few stupid deaths, here's some of them: Cleared out most of the Banshee level, no sign of Banshee, waltzed into the last room and saw her standing there. That's when I realised I'd forgotten to plug my ears. :( Didn't realise harpies could talk and got sacced. Lost the first character I ever got past ToeF with to a crash. And possibly the stupidest death by anyone ever: (yes even more stupid than not plugging ears on Banshee level) I used a wand of trap creation to make a teleport trap to jump into Dwarven Mystic's room then realised I had no way out and starved to death. Happends to me alot too, almost happened to Florine. My WORST death was a char. lvl. 16 named Wishbone was killed by a black dragon! A BLACK DRAGON, ONE OF THE MOST PATHETIC MONSTERS! |

My most idiotic death aws when i was in CoC lvl5 or something. I thought i cleared out the level cuz i found THE carrot room.but noooooo i had to waste some time by planting herbs and such(i was a human wizard) by the time i was finished and anout to drink carrots, a damn ghul paralyzed me and kicked my ass to kingdom come... sniff...she had deathray also... I wish I could find a carrot room..YOU MUST BE LUCKY! I NEVER FIND CARROT ROOMS! I've played for 3 yrs (almost coming the 1/1/03) and only found 3 carrot Rms. and they where all in 3 diffrent game, and all my first. |

Just yesterday I played a drakish barbar, and every thing was goin GREAT, I really mean great and this PC was so-o _tough_, a real fighter. Then i offered one unidentified ring to a shopkeeper in PuppyCave and he offered me 4500 for it and I was pretty damn sure that it was ring of djinni summoning. So i immediatly tested it and yep it was _uncursed_ ring of djinni summoning! AAARGH i forgot to bless it first!!! aaarfg. I was so pissed of that i quitted at once so my great game was totally ruined. SHIT!(happens) |

*Sigh* I got another one. An Orcish Beastfighter on D:45 accidently drinks a potion of blindness "Okay, I'll just walk around till it wears off" I think. I run into something in a hall and start meleeing. Wasnt paying attention until it killed me. Found out it was a Ki-rin(didnt have dray resistance equiped) Was Lawful too.. picking up all items i previously dropped after pushing ctrl+k. Pushing A many many times and not noticing that you are mixing potions. Dying. It's very hard to be humble, when you are great. |

...make that two. Two in a row got by 291 :/ At least they died early (8&12) so it doesn't bother me that much but I'd really like to get 291 out of the game.
