I know, couldnt find the bug temple cause had gamma 16pr2... nice thing that tunnel from the fortresslike village, do anyone of you know what the purple colored old lady wants(tell's me to mature up before talking to her and say's im the chosen one..) DUKE, you guys kinda sound like so pro's.. thought. IMPORTANT(or not) i went to the mad minstrel hut with my first v.1 character yesterday(a dwarven monk) and in the hut, found the mad minstrels corpse(it's a kobold corpse, killed him once and found out) but when i came out of the hut, he was pounding outside of his hut, normal self.. weird thing.. or a update? --- DaC / c'moon! tell me! pl-eeee-ase! i wanna know! etc... ------------------------------------- Duh, troll juice.. hmm, thats odd... the minstrel drops a kobold corpse when killed?! i don't know... i've spoiled myself, so thats how i know about most of the stuff i know; i don't hactualy know most of it firsthand. i've never gotten past getting teh water orb... although check out my braggage thread in teh spoiler forum to see how my latest guy's doing... adamantium is fun... ivan.sourceforge.net |

How about this one? "You steal a rune-covered sling! Bob, the master swordsman ghul, attacks the werewolf. Bob, the master swordsman ghul, misses the werewolf. The werewolf is killed!" Yay, go pick pocket, however look at the last part of the message: "Bob, the master swordsman ghul, misses the werewolf. The werewolf is killed!" I guess one reason could be that monsters simply use all theyr attacks regardless of wether or not the target survived the first one. Except this particular ghoul had 4 attacks and only used two. The message does look kinda funny. On a side note poor old Bob was killed after the worm brain panicked and fled into a room full of Ogres in the Ogre caves... Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

Duke: The "<foo> glares at the <foo> in a very strange manner." doesn't require one to order companion to kill other companion. I've had it couple of times when playing a bard. I tamed a monster with music and it the glared at my earlier pet (that it had fought earlier). Apparently that message means that one <foo> was hostile earlier and the other tame and then the hostile one was tamed. |

speakinjg of WMoPC, i just had a guy get badly injured, and while he was waiting to regen he kepted hearing "you feel a soul in agony". eventually i moved on, opened a door, and there standing in the room, were 2 WMoPC and a Chaos Mutant. i dealt with the mutant first, and gained 2 levels. then a WMoPC killed me in one hit. ivan.sourceforge.net |

I once had a tame WMoPC. I wasn't sure whether should I take it with me or leave it. I took it to the graveyard on CoC:18 and decided: if it'll kill a lich, it's going with me. It dealt with mummies and spectres, but lich was too tough for it and scored an instakill ;) |

One message I enjoy hearing is when you sacrifice a fire monster: The <foo> is engulfed in a column of flame. (Something similiar to that) I still find that funny, and I am left wondering, "Now how did he let that happen?" Also I went through the manuel looking for monster memory people, and I got Thomas Biskup, William Tanksley, Ronald Neumann, Richard Fowler, and Stefanie Woll as the only responses, any luck with other names? Oh the joy that has been brought to us by the mystical drink known simply as "Kool-Aid." |

i find it funny, royal guardians aren't hostile until you talk to them. hmm, i just thought of something: ratling duelists will slap you with their gauntlet if you chat to them when they're friendly, and then they attack; i wonder if the slap does any damage. if it does that could be a funny death message. ivan.sourceforge.net |

Duke hmmmmm doomed cursed with low HP hmmmmmm it maybe would very dangerous.... Hmmmmm Status doomed and cursed is deadly combination... What about hurtling when you start in friday 13, and you have cursed ring of doom?:) Chelange: Mein friend Mindstorm think about Three moloch armor chelenge.. Two MA in weapon slots (its right hand -1500 to hit left hand -3000 to hit;)) And third in ammo slot:) It's the most stupid chelenge in ADOM and the most deadly... Ahh i had the same thort when i first heard of that one duke... didnt' work tho it's just for fun. I've also tried drinking potions of booze to death however that didn't work either...
