Well, I think it's clear there's been quite a few silly mistakes made throughout the game. This is what happens when we change player every 2k turns :)

> If I might just ask a little question:

> WHY THE HELL DID WE KILL THE WHITE UNICORN
> IF WE DON'T USE THE POGA BEFORE D:5
> ANYWAY???!!!111one *PANT* *PANT* *WHEEZE*

That was entirely my mistake. When Soirana sent
the file to me, he had not yet collected the PoGA.
He put it off, to avoid Rhea becoming a fallen
champion. That was not spelled out in the game
report though.

One might think that I would have had the common
sense to notice that Rhea's stats had not yet been
improved by ~80 overall points. One would be wrong
though, I completely overlooked it. In fairness,
I haven't killed the white unicorn in years, so
collecting the PoGA's is simply never a part of
any of my games.

I don't think that we should finish this game,
with a wand of destruction ending. That would be
really depressing. After all of the adventures
Rhea has survived, she deserves to clear D:50
like a true hero should. It's not THAT hard, I
actually 'blinged' my way through there before!

I would advise to use the wand of destruction first, then try to clear D:50. Less potential frustration and still the same feeling of accomplishment!

The safety of the world comes first - THEN the badassitude of killing everything that moves on D:50.
You drop the golden ball.
You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west.
Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?"
Which direction? (123456789) 4
Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated.
You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd!

Busy playing, and takin my time. 1041 turns have passed, but I stopped playing. Why? Well, mabye my wife woke up and demanded attention...mabye I fell asleep over the keyboard....mabye I had a bit to drink yesterday and foolhardily decided to play under the influence, resulting in an untimely death after 1041 drunkish turns.

(one of the above is true)

Anyway, wish for a GoGS Molach before Silfir gets his grubby mits on it. He already wasted the last wish on some useless amulet ;P

If they summon acnient red dragons, maybe.

The girdle isn't absolutely needed, we could
save the wish for SoCR. We don't know how many
corruptions Rhea will get on D:50. Since the
White Unicorn is dead, we might need a lot of
scrolls to insure a corruption free exit.

Ouch... I guess my abuse of prayers and healing potions in the Mana Temple took its toll. But to come so close... RIP Rhea.

I suppose this challenge has really shown that pass the parcel with a character leads to all sorts of problems, especially lack of preparation and correct co-ordination. There are quite a few mistakes made throughout that most of us would never have made or suffered from in a normal game. Still, I'm quite impressed we got this far anyway, especially with a merchant.

.flg some time Molach?

I sent it to Silfir.

And those poems are great, no need to post them anonymous...

Went a bit over the turn-count. I might have lost track, but it might also have been the turns passed as I was making them scrolls.

Oh, and mabye, you can make one last backupsave from just before you exit the Drakalor chain (if you make it that far, that is...). I would like to have her in my high-score list, even if she is only 7,14% mine.

WoD ending?

After reading the report, I don't think those
wands made D:50 easier. Oh well, at least the
gate is closed, and Rhea lived through it. From
reading the above reports, I gather the initial
game report was a bit misleading.

So now, what shall we do to earn a corruption
free exit from the chain. Well, we don't HAVE
to remove the corruptions. We could just let
Rhea walk around for the rest of her life, looking
like an alien.

BDC's? Gremlins?

I did wonder... it seemed strange to die to Fisty so dramatically (especially with teleportation and missiles).

As for the corruptions... well she will still get a normal ending if she leaves the chain with just 2 corruptions. And thin and nimble's nice to have (though twelve eyes I guess is a little unsightly). Personally I don't think the game should be prolonged any further. D50's cleared, it's about time we wrapped things up. Besides, Silfir as creator of the challenge fully deserves to take her on her final journey home.

The twelve eyes could come in handy, if she is
going to be a ruler. Assasins won't have a chance.

Molach, are sure about the sending? I don't have anything in my inbox.

Well a trip to the bug temple would yield some scrolls, but that would be ridiculously risky. Hunting for black unicorns is easy if we have a dooming item, and wouldn't take up 2k turns.

Taking your time with this Silfir? :P

I just rmembered something else you might want to consider - Miss Daisy is still in the forest, so harvesting further items is a possibility there. Dunno how long it would take to get more corruption removal stuff, but it's an option anyway. Just don't end up with a ridiculously stupid death that way...

Before I go and finish this, a definitive answer: do we still get the perfect ending with two corruptions? If yes, we're going to finish this, if no, I'm going to spend 2000 turns on finding corruption removal stuff, and send Rhea to the next if it doesn't work.

Because I sure as hell am not going to risk not getting a perfect ending.
